We ask for your constructive contribution to this Erasmus for Jobs proposal – your ideas, suggestions, modifications, and, of course, disagreements – to help advance this important debate.

Που συμβαίνει

Youth unemployment in Europe, especially in the South, has become a dramatic problem in recent years. For many nations in Europe, the risk of lost generation of skilled and educated youth is rising. In November 2012, in a conference hosted by the Berggruen Institute in Berlin, George Papandreou called for the creation of a new, pan-European program, similar to the popular and successful Erasmus study abroad program: Erasmus for Jobs. The idea made a strong impact and Papandreou, cooperating with researchers from Columbia University, produced a detailed study for the implementation of the program.

We ask for your constructive contribution to this Erasmus for Jobs proposal - your ideas, suggestions, modifications, and, of course, disagreements - to help advance this important debate.
